What it does / when to replace

The pre-motor filter protects the motor from fine dust; the post-motor HEPA filter cleans the exhaust air. Replace or wash on schedule if suction drops, exhaust smells dusty, or the filters are clogged.

• Reduced suction
• Dusty smell from the exhaust
• Visibly dirty or damaged filters

What’s in the pack

• 1 x washable pre-motor filter
• 1 x post-motor HEPA filter

Compatible models

DC41, DC41Erp (Mk2), DC42, DC42Erp, DC55, DC65, DC66

Fitment & care notes

• Wash the pre-motor filter in cold water only and allow it to dry fully (typically 24 hours) before refitting.
• This kit is for DC41 / DC42 / DC55 / DC65 / DC66 family machines – not for DC40, which uses different filter sizes.
