What it does / when to replace
The poly-V drive belt transfers motor drive to the drum pulley. A stretched, glazed or broken belt stops the drum turning or makes the motor squeal on spin.
- Drum does not turn while the motor runs
- Burning rubber smell or squealing on spin
- Visible cracks, glazing or missing ribs on the old belt
